Mitchell remembers John “Johny Woj” as one of the people who helped establish the BakaBois league. Over the years, John became more than a manager. He was a friend, a competitor and the league’s unofficial news desk — the person who broke rumors and league developments before anyone else.
That makes the latest Woj bomb a personal one. Mitchell says John is stepping away from his solo ownership seat and moving into a co-manager role with Savage. On John’s birthday, it is worth pausing to appreciate what his run has meant to the league.
Nine seasons of John
The verified standings record covers nine seasons from 2017 through 2025. John finishes that solo run with a 69–50 regular-season record, a 58.0% win rate and 14,378.46 points scored. Six of those nine seasons ended with a winning record.
His team names became their own timeline: Johnny Football, Mission Failed ., big sigh, Country Roads Take Mahomes, Johnny Woj and Johnny B Robin Sons. The branding changed. The presence did not.
John’s best regular-season stretch arrived in 2022 and 2023. He went 11–3 with 1,774.30 points in 2022, then followed it with a 10–3 season and 1,632.96 points in 2023.
Seven straight postseasons
The league’s postseason records show John in the playoff field every year from 2019 through 2025.
The high point came in 2021. John beat TAKE ME OUT I DONE 136.20–131.88, survived Ya Mama King Kupp Bitch 155.76–152.98, and reached the title game. There, K B edged Johnny Woj 115.92–115.56 — a championship decided by just 0.36 points.
He returned in 2022, falling to Chorizo country ,lets ride 108.70–94.22 before finishing third in the standings. In 2023, Nyquill Jornan ended his title chase 150.04–122.66. In 2024, Jason’s cream Team won their playoff meeting 136.58–116.42, and John later closed the bracket with a 135.78–70.00 win over Nyquill Jornan.
His final solo postseason row came in 2025: Brett’s Best Team 121.18, Johnny Woj 117.84.
No championship banner came out of the run, but seven consecutive playoff seasons and a title-game appearance are a real legacy.
The draft boards
The archive contains 135 John-linked player rows across nine drafts from 2017 through 2025. Eight draft boards are supported as historical pick-order imports. The 2022 source is different: it is an estimated roster-and-ownership reconstruction, not authenticated selection-grain evidence, so exact 2022 rounds and overall-pick claims should not be published as fact.

The reconstructed 2022 ownership source associates John’s team with names including Christian McCaffrey, A.J. Brown, Ezekiel Elliott, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Lamar Jackson, Rhamondre Stevenson and Isiah Pacheco. Those player-to-team associations can be described as reconstructed ownership evidence; their exact rounds and selection order remain unresolved.
John’s final solo draft in 2025 was appropriately star-heavy: Justin Jefferson in Round 1, Bucky Irving in Round 2, George Kittle in Round 3, Lamar Jackson in Round 4 and RJ Harvey in Round 5. His final recorded pick was Dylan Sampson in Round 15.
More than the record
The numbers establish John’s competitive footprint. They do not capture the whole person.
Mitchell’s appreciation is about the friend who helped build the league’s culture, kept everyone informed and made BakaBois feel like more than a standings page. John may be leaving his solo seat, but he is not leaving the league behind. If Mitchell’s announcement is the latest Woj bomb, then the next chapter begins beside Savage.
