Week 6 starts with Seattle at Denver at 8:15 p.m. ET, and two of the strongest teams in League 2 meet with opposite sides of that game already in their fantasy lineups. At the Thursday 12:26 p.m. ET source cutoff, these are current roster slots and an unplayed NFL game—not locked starters or a forecast of fantasy results.
Four matchups carrying the stakes
Wes vs. Dannie, League 2. Both are 3–2, and they sit at Nos. 3 and 5 in the published October 13 Week 5 editorial power poll. Wes has scored 738.8 season points; Dannie has 677.8. Tonight, Wes's current lineup has Broncos D/ST while Dannie's has Jaxon Smith-Njigba. The NFL Week 6 injury report lists Smith-Njigba as a full practice participant, but final active lists and fantasy lineups still need a check near kickoff.
Ben vs. Will, League 1. Ben is 4–1 and No. 2 in that poll, with a field-leading 780.5 season points; Will is 2–3 and No. 11. Ben currently starts Smith-Njigba, while Will has Seahawks D/ST in the active defense slot. Their Week 6 matchup gets an opening-night read before the rest of the fantasy slate plays.
Kent vs. Cesar, League 1. Kent's 5–0 start and No. 1 poll position meet Cesar's 2–3 record and No. 6 position. Cesar has actually scored more season points, 695.3 to Kent's 669.5, so the records alone understate the test. The latest NFL report lists Kent's current starter Rashee Rice and Cesar's Saquon Barkley and Chris Olave as nonparticipants in practice. Their game statuses are not established by those practice entries; recheck them before their NFL games.
Austin vs. Lil C, League 1. Austin is 3–2, No. 8 in the published poll, and has J.K. Dobbins in a current starting slot for tonight. Lil C is 1–4, No. 23, and made a verified $2 FAAB waiver claim that replaced Bills D/ST with 49ers D/ST; the new defense appears in Lil C's current Week 6 lineup. That is a real lineup change, though it does not decide the matchup before play.
Tonight's starter watch
The dated NFL schedule shows Seahawks at Broncos, 8:15 p.m. ET, still pregame at the collector cutoff. Along with the players above, League 1 currently has Ryan's Jason Myers, Alex's Broncos D/ST, and Darnell's Emanuel Wilson in slots tied to this game. League 2 currently has Rice Cracker's Jason Myers, Savage's Emanuel Wilson, Jason's Jaylen Waddle and Courtland Sutton, and Kenneth's Seahawks D/ST in such slots. These are source-observed fantasy assignments; they can change before kickoff, and a fantasy slot is not an NFL active-status confirmation.
The official Week 6 injury page lists Seattle running back Zach Charbonnet out for tonight and Smith-Njigba as a full practice participant. Across the later-game fantasy starters, it lists several limited or nonparticipating practices, including Brock Bowers, Jeremiyah Love, Jonathan Taylor and Chris Godwin Jr. Practice participation alone is not a Sunday or Monday inactive announcement. The source-bound injury sweep is current as of Thursday 12:31 p.m. ET; check later official reports and final active lists before making those lineup decisions.
